Splitting a PDF is usually about sending someone one part of a longer document — a single signed page out of a contract, the pages of a bank statement that actually matter, one chapter from a manual. Uploading the whole thing to a stranger's server to get one page back has always been a strange trade.
This runs entirely in your browser. The file is read from your disk, the pages you pick are copied into a new document, and it is handed straight back. Nothing is transmitted, so there is no queue, no page limit, and nothing left behind on anyone's server.
Pages are copied intact rather than re-rendered, so text stays selectable, links stay clickable and image quality is untouched. What you extract is exactly what was in the original.
How to use it

Are my documents uploaded to split them?
No. The PDF is read from your disk into your browser, the pages you choose are copied into a new document, and it is handed straight back. Nothing is transmitted, so there is nothing stored on any server and no queue to wait in. It works offline.
How do I choose which pages to keep?
Two ways, and they stay in sync. Click page previews to select them, or type ranges like "1-3, 5, 8-12" into the box. Leave the box empty to keep every page. For very long documents, previews are shown for the first 120 pages while the range box still accepts any page number.
Can I split one PDF into separate files?
Yes. Choose "Separate files" and every selected page becomes its own PDF, delivered together in a ZIP. That is the right option when a single scan actually contains a batch of individual documents — invoices, certificates or forms that need filing separately.
Does splitting reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied across exactly as they are rather than re-rendered, so text stays selectable, links keep working and images keep their original resolution. The result is byte-for-byte the same content, just in a smaller document.
Is there a limit on file size or page count?
No enforced limit. Because nothing is uploaded there is no cap for anyone to impose — you are bounded only by your own device memory, which comfortably handles documents of several hundred pages on an ordinary laptop.
